Team Meg is in Seattle to participate in the 2018 Special Olympics, we are so proud of Meg and all the athletics. Good Luck Meg, we will be cheering you on.

Great fun for a whole bunch of people…a great turnout!
This is very exciting for Meg, her family and her Cape Ann Special Olympics family to qualify for the Special Olympics. We will be watching and cheering for you. We are all proud of you.
Meg will be swimming the following events.
200M Freestyle, 7/2
100M Backstroke 7/3
100M Freestyle 7/4
4×50 Freestyle Relay 7/5
GHS girls win game in dramatic fashion scoring three in last inning to tie the game and then score again in the eighth to win!
GHS bats come alive in the last of the 6th and the boys win their first playoff game against Triton. A great effort by by John John Mondello and over all hitting and defense by a bunch of guys including Marcus Montagnino, E. J. Field, Matt Smith, and Ben Oliver.
GHS girls win their 12th in a row beating Revere 14-2.
GHS boys win in extra innings 5-4 playing another good game and climb above 500.
GHS girls shutout Swampscott and win game scoring three in the 6th inning. Great game!
GHS Cheerleaders again win cheerleader competition with the Northeast Conference.

This is a special message to all residents of Gloucester and surrounding communities due to a special event happening at Gloucester High School this Sunday, February 25th at 4:30pm.
Gloucester’s State Champion Cheerleading team will compete AT HOME in the Cape Ann League/Northeastern Conference Championships. This is a rare opportunity to see the amazing GHS Cheer athletes up close as they take on their League rivals. GHS Boys run away from Manchester Essex winning 84-56.
The Fishermen play great game to end season defeating Danvers 40-28 !!!
Great fun at the GHS Pep Rally prior to the game with Danvers on Thursday last week.
The Fishermen win hard fought game in the final two minutes at a bitterly cold stadium at home on Friday night.
Two games 2-1 win against Swampscott in the first game and then 4-0 loss to Dracut…It goes into the books as a good season!
Depleted Gloucester looses to strong Wakefield team…Two more games to get to Thanksgiving .
