Lanescove Shack

Sunset photo from Lanescove, this was a happy accident, walking from one side of the cove to the other I saw the colors behind the shack and trees so I climbed down the rocks since the tide was low I was able to frame this shot. First time I’ve seen this angle. Hope you guys like it, thank you

  1. Dave,

Beautiful shot right place right time.!

Thank you so very much for this memory (George Morey renovated fish shack) I spent many days on the other side swimming in lanes cove and had a little beach area during low tide. Stood in that same spot catching minnows, of digging in the mud when tide out got Crabs, clams sometimes then razors or Quahog. You came over from the Bennie Toki plank between two tree’s then, side of the cove or Harvey’s oil CO side 1950’s and 1960’s..

This was about a 3-5 minute walk from the house on Washington street depending upon snow or not then.

    Dave 🙂 & Kim 🙂
