Main street when I was younger was where we all went to have a blast experience the passing of seasons and how each were infused into the community whole bunch of fun! Wonder if the Joke shop is still on main was a hit back in the 1960’s close to theater if I remember correctly. The would go up to the 1940 Merrimac diner looked like the one out of Steve McQueen Blob, called the Hesperus Diner, Ralph’s diner, and 28 Diner (Source for the walk back was from Aunt who live her final years in Portsmouth due North and (Boston uncommon). Family connections and friends are what makes the community so great!
Small communities do grow and times do change, but the foundation to build from tends to keep the growth strong! 🙂 Dave & Kim 🙂
