Next to rusted paint, I love scraped and sanded hulls before they get repainted and become boring. Each one has its own unique abstract pattern and colors.

    1. The guys scraping or sanding the boat hulls always seem baffled when I photograph their boat in that state – they don’t see the abstract beauty of the work in progress.
