RIP “BLAZE”

I Had to put my Girl BLAZE to sleep this morning. She had a rough couple of weeks. She helped me through a rough couple of years. She was a sweetheart. She’s now with my son and father.

I brought her to the GMG headquarters a few years ago. She almost took down GMG that day. I was so proud of her!  🙂

I will miss my sidekick so much.

RIP “BLAZE” 2001-2015

    1. You brought back memories of my first night alone without my best friend. I got a bit depressed after Moxie died until one day I realized that I wasn’t honoring her by being a mope – she was always happy and ready for the day’s adventure, just like Blaze. I had to learn to be more like my dog. What a blessing our canine (and feline) companions are. We learn so much from them and they do their best to keep us in the present. Sending you my condolences for your loss.

  1. So sorry, Paul, to hear about your little puppy. She looks like she was a great companion! I had to put my golden retriever, Mango, to sleep a month ago after 14 years, too. (She found your rock on Harborwalk.) So I know what you’re going through! I’ll be thinking of you!

  3. I’m so sorry, Paul. That is such an incredibly hard decision to make….even when you are 100% certain that it is the right time to do it….and even when you are certain that it is in their best interest. I have no doubt that Blaze was as lucky to have you as you were to have Blaze.

  4. You gave him the best of life anyone could give a dog – you rescued him and loved him until the end. What more could a dog ask for. He is waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge.
