  1. And yet hammers kill more people than guns and doctors are the worst but you don’t see any bearded crazy person carrying a sigh protesting hammers or doctors.

    1. You need to report all the statistics to make an accurate point. I don’t know the statistics on doctors/hospitals, but they generally don’t go out of their way to intentionally kill anyone:
      Homicides by weapon:
Handguns comprised 72.5 percent of the firearms used in murder and non-negligent manslaughter incidents in 2011; 4.1 percent were with shotguns; 3.8 percent were with rifles; 18.5 percent were with unspecified firearms.
13.3 percent of homicides were done with knives or other cutting instruments.
5.8 percent of homicides were from the use of hands, fists, feet, etc. (source: FBI)

  2. What are you liberals gonna protect us from next? Free speech? Religion? Leave the Constitution ALONE,and while you’re at it,keep your fingers out of my wallet,too./

  3. I hadn’t had children when I read Gone Boy by Greg Gibson about 20 years ago. His story about losing his son to senseless gun violence is the most gripping book I ‘ve ever read.
Why is it that so many pro gun people are so opposed to sensible regulations? Scary to think that the more you oppose regulations the more you probably need them.

    1. And that is it – sensible regulation. As Samuel Adams said of the Constitutional right to bear arms: “The Constitution shall never be construed . . . to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms.” Unfortunately too many non peaceable, criminal, angry, emotionally unstable adults (and children) are bearing arms. I’m sure they also weren’t anticipating AK47’s and other assault type weapons being in anyone’s hands.

  5. Fact: most, almost 2/3 of all gun deaths are suicides. Guns are only a tool in the hands of a human being, they have no will nor intelligence. I’m sorry the second amendment is so inconvenient for those who want to restrict the RIGHTS of legal gun owners, those of us who pose no threat to others. Those rights permit us to protect ourselves from those who ignore most laws in general. We have plenty of laws already, but our liberal society will not enforce them, so liberals just want more laws instead, so they “feel” they are doing something…

Want a gun free society? Move to North Korea.

    1. If true, that just supports my argument – too many emotionally unstable people are bearing arms. The problem is that there are not enough spiritually evolved human beings so that as a whole we know that guns are not the answer to anything, and there is really nothing to protect ourselves from, except ourselves.
