VIDEO PSA: THE GOOD HARBOR SEAL ~ WHAT TO DO IF YOU FIND A SEAL ON THE BEACH

The beautiful juvenile Harbor Seal was found on a foggy morning in midsummer. The seal was beached at the high tide line and its breathing was heavy and labored. It had no interest in returning to the water and needed only to remain at rest.

For the next six hours the seal struggled to survive the world of curious humans.

Learn what to do if you find a seal on the beach.

The two agencies listed below have in my experience been helpful:

George McCann will have his new solo Cd for sale tonight…nothing like taking it home with you.

I’ve seen this kind of lineup in the past and it was musically mind blowing. Definitely high concert material. I wouldn’t miss it for the world. You get to hear smokin hot originals, covers by the Allman Brothers, Neil Young, ZZ Top, Tom Petty, Grateful Dead, Blind Faith, Cream, JJ Cale, The Byrds, Clapton, The Band,  etc..

Plus it’s happening in our little town and it’s free!

Team Spirit

On this otherwise cold and dreary Saturday morning, a beautiful view came into sight from across the soccer field.

The Peabody Thunder U12 Team is making a wonderful statement by donning pink socks for the month of October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Good job, boys!  I hope that your season is as fantastic as you are!

VNA (Master Sergeant) Kathleen

KathleenPT4884wm

Kathleen came to visit me as part of the VNA home physical therapy rehab service twice a week. She was tough, unrelenting, but wise enough to lay off when needed. She worked me hard and made muscles hurt that I never knew I had. A great person, and I’ll always cherish our walks together to my animal park with the rollator and canes. Here’s another person who’ll have your six (back) and is part of the army that saved my life. She discharged me yesterday, which is both a happy and a sad event. Like so many others on my journey through cancer recovery, I will never forget her. God Bless you Kathleen.
