Good morning Joey and GMG crew. I listened to my first podcast last night. It was nice to put a voice to the posts I read every day~several times a day! It amazes me to realize that GMG, in current day, is talking about the same Gloucester my grandparents and parents talked about. Just about every post brings me back to a story once told or an event well lived. From Good Harbor beach~remembering those times with the sounds in the background while watching Kims film ~to Eastern Point where my grandparents met ~ to 4th of July on the hill at stage fort park where I had my first kiss ~ to EJs Rocky Neck reviving to the fun place it used to be ~ to Hammond’s castle where my daughter married ~ to the Lannon and the Ellis’ where my family experienced beginning and endings ~ to Marty Luster and his poem “The Gift”. Gloucester is a treasure ~ you and your crew bring a gift from that teasurre every day. Thank you ~ Hold Fast and i’ll see you next summer 😉

GMG gets some great comments but Mary McLoud Tucker should get a gold star for this one.

I remember Bob’s Clam Shack (when I was a kid)! It was always busy, always fun. We would eat there as a family, and so did many others!
