Good Harbor Beach Sunrise -2 ©Kim Smith 2013.The sunrise in the lifting fog at Good Harbor Beach this morning looked at times more like a moonrise.

Snow Egret Good Harbor Beach Gloucester MA ©Kim Smith 2013.A lone Snowy Egret was eating and fluffing its feathers and a pair of Whimbrels (at least I think they were Whimbrels) were fishing and bathing along the tide pool edges.

    1. Thank you Kathleen. Every where was gorgeous in the fog this morning and I managed to photograph and film favorite spots at Good Harbor and Eastern Point, and a new spot at the Fort!

    When I was shooting the sunrise in June there, the sun was coming up near the twin lights.

  3. Thank you Kim. Your photos are absolutely beautiful. Now I remember why we bought a place in Gloucester, instead of somewhere in Florida. We leave in Ohio most of the time 🙂
