  1. I visited last Sunday hoping to find lunch. Still pounding nails and smelled of fresh paint. Can’t wait for this one.

Fun Fact: The dock at this restaurant is famous to someone like me from Woods Hole. It is where Alpheus Hyatt tied up his research boat in 1878. That was the beginning of the Woods Hole Marine Biological Laboratories (MBL) which he moved to Woods Hole in 1888. He lived right across the cove. (That house is still there and was already really old when Hyatt bought it.)

In Woods Hole they think the MBL began in 1888 and sell Tee-Shirts with that date emblazoned on them. They’re wrong. It all began in Annisquam in 1878.

  2. This was one of the best meals and freshest meals I have had in a long, long time. Coming from a family that owned a restaurant for 47 years that says alot!
    Can’t wait to go back!
